The Workshop will be organized by Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna and CNIT, Pisa, and Osaka University, Osaka in order to provide a valuable forum for both Japanese and Italian photonics academic and industrial communities to exchange up-to-date research information on optical fiber communications to promote future research collaboration among Japanese and Italian researchers in applied photonics, which represents the technology for the 21st century.
