SIEm, acronym of “Società Italiana di Elettromagnetismo” (“Italian Society of Electromagnetism”), is a scientific non-profit society, founded in 2012, promoting both study and improvements of electromagnetism in Italy with special focus on engineering applications.
Professors and researchers of the Scientific Sector ING-INF/02 (Electromagnetic Fields) belong to SIEm.
The President is prof. Paolo Bassi (University of Bologna).

The SIEm organizes every two years the National Assembly Electromagnetics (RiNEm).
